Meet the Chef: Giulio Cavalli

Giulio Cavalli is the owner and chef of Luigi's Restaurant. He began working in 1976 and continues to give Fairfield County the best pizza and most authentic Italian dishes around.

Originally from Ripi, Italy, where his family still resides, Giulio is a self-taught chef. He first learned watching others, even his mom, create dishes. He learned to use his passion for great food to infuse even the simplest of recipes. He believes you can't skimp on quality and must use the freshest ingredients to yield the best results.

Luigi's offers tasty traditional Italian dishes along with decadent creative special entrees. Luigi's continues to have a large rotating pizza oven that boasts slicing pizzas for generations of families.

Giulio has been working with his staff for a long time and he considers them their own Luigi's family. Customers will feel at home the moment they enter Luigi's Restaurant.
